DEKACON was proactive in the make safe works following the floods in Northern NSW.
These works were integral to reconnect people with services. These make safe works included remediation of land slips as follows:

* Fire Access and Fire Trail (FAFT) Projects; Bridges Construction within Nightcap & Mebbin National Parks
* Flood Recovery Works; Land Slips within Mt Jerusalem National Park
* Construction of multiple structures in other locations including culverts, bridges, roadworks, drainage and grading.

Engagement and work with multiple local Land Councils and relevant groups and Elders around culturally sensitive and significant sites is exceptional. Their quality of work is more than adequate with extra effort to mitigate environmental harm in riparian zones being noted. The timeliness of delivery is exceptional. The contractor’s willingness to detail the record of works greatly assists job progress monitoring".
