DEKACON is a Civil Construction Company with over 30 years’ experience servicing clients across a broad range of projects and industries. Who is DEKACON
DEKACON is a family owned and operated Civil Construction Company. DEKACON was founded by husband, wife and son team Darren, Kylie and Adam. Together the three have worked hard to grow the business from a team of three, to a skilled and capable workforce who consistently demonstrate quality outcomes and projects that are well executed and presented.
The word “DEKA” is a long held family acronym used to describe the core family unit and company members which include Darren, Kylie, Adam and daughter Emma. The suffix “Con” is used to highlight the importance of the Company’s core values; Connectivity, Conservation and Construction.

- DEKACON’s three founders who are depicted via the use of 3 lines, all of which are on an upward trajectory.
- Forward movement and future thinking which is denoted by the arrow shaped nature of the symbol.
- DEKACON’s commitment to quality construction, which is depicted by broken lines, representing the roads, pathways and natural environments in which we work, and the solid line, which represents the physical structures we build.
- The overall arch shape also pays homage to the bridges we build.

Rationale for the Creation of Our Logo
The typography represents DEKACON and its values by appearing strong, focused, efficient and sophisticated. Inherent in its appearance are characteristics of trust, strength and confidence.
The red shape is called the Apex. The Apex symbolises:

DEKACON Node
As a way of supporting our primary DEKACON brandmark, our node icon has been developed as a stand alone mark, which can be used across marketing materials as a second point of interest.
It is best used as a secondary device in most instances to reinforce our brand on an image or a page. It can be used at smaller sizes when the DEKACON logo becomes less legible, for instance, our Instagram profile display picture.
