Visitor Precinct Upgrades

DEKACON has experience and capability to upgrade Visitor Precincts and have worked with clients to produce functional and aesthetically pleasing areas for people to enjoy.

DEKACON (formally Civilcrete), in conjunction with Prestige Gardens and Landscaping, were engaged to complete civil works for NSW NPWS at the scenic destination of Minyon Falls, located within Nightcap National Park. The upgraded visitor precinct, complete with concrete footpaths and picnic tables, now offers both tourists and locals the opportunity to relax amidst the stunning views of cascading falls and surrounding rainforest.

DEKACON has also completed similar works at Victoria Park, located within the Victoria Park Nature Reserve, upgrading visitor accessibility to ensure greater inclusivity for park users, along with BBQ shelter and concrete footpath renewal.

Testimonials

In reference to DEKACON's work across NSW NPWS projects;

"DEKACON are great to work with from pre-engagement to completion of job. They are professional, capable, and easy to deal with, meeting and often exceeding our requirements for WH&S, environmental management, and quality. Their RFTs are professional and easily comprehended and include all the detail we need. On site, everything is well organised; signage and barrier fencing is erected before works start, safety plans and relevant JSAs / SWMS are supplied on time and kept up to date. They also work closely and respectfully with multiple stake holders and Traditional Owners on culturally sensitive sites, which is really impressive.

The work itself is delivered to a high standard, and they go the extra mile to protect the threatened ecological communities and known Cultural Heritage Sites close by to works site, and make other considerations to minimise environmental impacts. They finish on time and keep detailed records that make tracking progress easy".
